The Scourge Project is a futuristic, third-person shooter developed primarily with a view to co-op gameplay. It was designed by Spanish developer Tragnarion Studios, which originally had plans to produce a FPS, but ultimately introduced the shooter with the view from a third party (TPP). The game was created for digital distribution.

The history presented in The Scourge Project is outlined in such a way that ensured the strongest emotions simultaneous participation of four players in the game. They embody the individual members of Echo Squad - team of mercenaries, which was hired by the organization Tarn Initiative and sets out on a campaign targeted the corporation Nogari. Their task is to save Dr. Raisbecka, a double agent working on behalf of the Tarn Initiative, and to gain a meteor fragment to the production of ragweed (raw gives access to the endless layers of energy).

The situation at the very beginning of getting out of control - mercenaries are attacked by an unknown form of life, and men infected with a mysterious virus. Echo Squad task is to discover the causes of learning and find ways to eliminate them with a range of futuristic weapons (nine of destruction).

Before beginning the game choose one of four available characters. Each character has a unique history, affecting the small extent on the gameplay, as well as the distinctive set of skills. The campaign and multiplayer modes, characters gain experience, able to contribute positively to their ability.

The three-dimensional world of The Scourge Project, presented the first-person perspective, was based on the graphics engine Unreal Engine 3, prepared by Epic Games. For this reason, all the elements that we are on our way carefully refined. Also exerts a positive impression of the world physics, which use carefully opponents - including flinging in our barrels, and other elements of the environment.

The option of cooperation, instead of computing companions, we can commit to three other players who will travel the virtual world with us. To play gave the problems are not available to the players was given a system of instruction and guidance to help you inform each other about the risks and places convenient to carry out the attack.

Placed at our disposal was also a classic multiplayer. The modes Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag and Frontiers may compete for up to sixteen players at once.
